Myth 101 – Ariadne and Dionysus

Ariadne and Dionysus, the divine couple. Aridane translates to ‘Most Holy’ (ari adnos).

Theses’ abandonment of Ariadne on Naxos became her discovery by Dionysus. It is said that Dionysus loved her deeply.
