Over 3,000 books collected by Joseph Campbell covering the various fields of mythology, literature, art, philosophy and religion. A number of the volumes are rare and many contain Campbell’s marginalia.

Over 1,600 books collected by Marija Gimbutas include the field of archaeology, as well as numerous volumes about religion, anthropology, linguistics, mythology, folklore, and art.

OPUS Archives is open weekdays during academic sessions 10 AM to 5 PM by appointment. Expanded research access on evenings and weekends may also be scheduled pending staffing availability.
