Katie Sanford (1917), M.A., MFT is an active Jungian analyst, artist, author and national lecturer. Katie studied at the Institut Zürich (C. G. Jung Institute of Zurich) in the early 1950’s and underwent her training at the Los Angeles Jung Institute and was certified as Jungian analyst in 1978. As an artist, Katie’s paintings, published in The Serpent and the Cross: Healing the Split through Active Imagination, are best understood as a series representing the personal and psychological development speaking to the theme of the emerging feminine spirit. Katie’s sixty-two oil paintings are inspired by the archetypal images which appeared through her active imagination and dreams. |
